Vexilar Edge LC 507 help

waste'in time Joined: 03/10/2009 Location: nd	i just aquired one of these and am not familiar with them. If anyone has experience could you give me the pros/cons, likes/dislikes. Thanks in advance

eyexer Joined: 02/28/2007 Location: ND	hook it up, turn it on, set it to dual screen and don't touch it. It's the best locator you will ever use.

waste'in time Joined: 03/10/2009 Location: nd	eye thanks for the feedback. I guess i was making sure it was worth the time it will take to change graphs from boat to boat. sounds like it is a definite step up from my current graphs.

eyexer Joined: 02/28/2007 Location: ND	up until I got my edge, I ran nearly every brand of graph. The edge smoked em all in both clarity, and ease of use. It just doesn't miss fish. I even ran a high end lowrance side by side for a whole year and you wouldn't believe the difference in fish finding capability. It will show fish that are glued to the bottom where the lowrance just couldn't do it. I have not ran any other graph in the last four or so years so I don't know how the current crop of stuff is. But suffice to say I wouldn't need any other graph. I just wish you could get a gps with it.
