NCAA Bracketology for DIV I Hockey LGS

Like – UND in GB

Dislike – Denver in same bracket

Like – UMD in Yale’s bracket

Dislike – Boston College

Like – CC/BC match-up

Like – Western Michigan

Dislike – Boston College (did I mention this already?)

Like – Nebraska/Michigan match-up

I have no opinion on the Northeast Regional…other than Miami(OH) who is a possible favorite to go to the frozen four has to play the host team NH.

ANY team can beat any other team on a given night at this stage of the year. The Fighting Sioux have the talent and experience to go ALL THE WAY this year!! If you want to talk smack about the finest college hockey team in the nation, that's OK, but you should learn how to spell their nickname.

I don’t believe Hopeandchangethis is a Rodent fan he’s just an anti-Sioux fan. He has no confidence in them to make a run at the national title…honestly after the last couple showings at the NCAA tourney can you really blame him !?!

However this year’s team does seem to be special they have fought through a lot of tough games and have shown their depth, leadership and confidence over and over through-out the year. Kristo looks to be out to prove something…Trupp is amazing with the puck..Frattin…well he’s just being Frats….I’d like to see Malone step up a little more and I thought Hextal had a quite weekend…If Gregoire comes back this team will be tough has nails.

BC is the only team that really scares me…their good scary good…one of the few teams in the country faster and better puck handlers then the Sioux…I am hoping that they having to play two WCHA teams slows them down a bit ( think UNO will upset Mich)…However the Denver re-match may get ugly…

Either way the Sioux are talented enough this year and I believe they are experienced enough to win this thing..

So why is the Sioux now seeded #2 and Yale got the #1 seed? I would have rather seen the Sioux where Yale is sitting in the bracket.

I did not get to see the came against CC, but I did watch the Denver game, and the Sioux got outplayed for almost the ENTIRE game. There was maybe one period that they outplayed denver. The Sioux got very lucky coming out with a win that night. If the Sioux play like they did against Denver, they will not make it far in the tourney.  I am a Sioux fan through and through, but if they play in the real tourney like they did against Denver the other night, they will not be making it to the title game, and that's a fact.
