I just came back form a short trip last weekend.  Around pine island the 30' range was producing the best, half jigging and half deadstick.  The bite has a lot to do with the weather up there so if you can try to go during a stable few day stretch.

I was up last weekend as well off Pine Island in 29' fow.  Had great fishing on Friday and Saturday morning, but things were slow saturday afternoon and sunday.  2 cold fronts came through, so not too surprised about that.  The entire west half of the lake had a huge crack open up, so there isn't must going on over there.  Zippel, Morris and Adrians roads are the only ones you can drive a truck out of.  Long Point is allowing ATV's, but you have to stay east of the resort -- so no going to Twin Islands right now.
