DPMS or bolt .223

SBE2 Joined: 04/14/2010 Location: ND	I currently have a Winchester bolt .223 that i like it shoots really well, off my shooting bench at 100 yards i can get 4 shots through virtually the same hole very consistently it shoots awesome. I am thinking about getting a DPMS with the 20 inch bull barrell and am wondering what i can expect for accuracy. RIght now all my rifles are bolt guns and all shoot really well but after shooting my brother in laws AR i am thinking that i need one as well. If i put good optics on it is it realistic to expect the same accuracy as i get out of my glass bedded bolt action .223? Thanks for any info that you can give me.

bontop2 Joined: 11/19/2005 Location: ND	Yes, that can be very accurate! I have a bushmaster varminter that has a 24 inch barrel and a 2 stage trigger and it will outshone every rifle I own! I handload for everything but with hand loads will drive 5 shots through one hole which only gets larger with each shot.

Mad Dog Joined: 01/07/2002 Location: ND	I have the R-15 w/ just about a 100 rounds. I sighted it in and only able to shoot 100 yard groups with my bipod... a one inch four shot group is what I can shoot. Very nice gun so far. Hopefully I will be able to run about 1000 yard through it by the end of the month shooting gophers.
