devils lake information please

Hello all. I am from New Jersey and I am planning a duck hunt to the devils lake area at the end of this month(october)
 Would the ponds normally be frozen by the last days of october?
 I would like to jump shoot divers on the ponds rather than try and hunt the lake itself without any equipment or a boat.
 Thanks for any ideas or help with this!

 You know, there is a good chance they would be frozen as it's been cold, but than again, maybe not.  I would suggest calling Lost Prairie Lodge by clicking here.  They have land and lodging in the heart of duck hunting.  Good luck.
