Any hand loaders out there that have any experiences to share on this round?  What kind of results are you getting versus factory purchased ammo?   Where do you use it and why?  Thanks.

Can't say I've ever tried factory loads.  I've reloaded from day one.

Just worked a load up for a ruger m77. .  imr 4350 54 grains with a 130 grn accubond  produced great groups.  Was going to go shoot over the chrony today but everyone in my house has the flu.

I have a Remington 700 with 26" barrel.  My friend who was a gunsmith tried quite a few different loads when I first got it.  The one that had the best group and fastest speed used 59.35 gr of H4831.  This was with a 140gr Sierra Spitzer Boattail bullet.  We didn't try many bullets though.

Been shooting a 264 for almost 30yrs. Have a few good loads worked up. Currently shooting 130gr Nosler Accubonds behind 65.5gr Reloader 25. Also have shot many 140gr Sierra hpbt pushed with62gr H4831. I've found that a 'full' case of a slow burning powder produced the best results.

I carry a gun cuz cops are to heavy.

140 VLD's work really well

130 Accubonds are another one that seem to fly great.

RL 25 with 140s 66 grains 3150fps

RL22 with 130s 62 grains 3300fps

I have been shooting my 264 since I was 15. This isincludes the 14thgun deer season with myI 264. I've never shot a store bought round through her. I shoot 120gr tax with I THINK 64 grains of 3031. I haven't loaded any loads for a year or two. I love the gun and bought it for deer, but do shoot a little of everything with it every year.

Now that I think of it a little more, it might be 48 grains of 3031. I'll have to double check.

I double checked.  The 3031 is for my 220 swift.  My 264 loads are 64 grains of 4831.
